Training Opportunities We Offer
Enhance understanding and skills through specialized training programs in mental health first aid, suicide prevention, and more. Contact us for more information on how to host or to bring a training to your organization.
Mental Health First Aid Training
A skills-based training that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges in youth or adults. This course focuses on reducing stigma and equipping individuals to offer initial help and connect others to professional resources.
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer)
An evidence-based suicide prevention training that empowers participants to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and take action. QPR provides practical steps to question someone about suicidal thoughts, persuade them to seek help, and refer them to appropriate resources.
Assessing & Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR)
Designed for providers and direct care workers, AMSR offers practical, research-informed strategies to assess and manage suicide risk in individuals. The training equips professionals with tools to conduct suicide-specific assessments and interventions while addressing care challenges.
