Mental Health Matters of Middle Georgia was founded by a group of Houston County residents who, through their professional and personal experiences, recognized a growing need for mental health awareness and access within our community.

Our board members have witnessed firsthand how untreated mental health challenges, limited resources, and ongoing stigma affect individuals and families across Middle Georgia. United by diverse perspectives and a shared commitment, we work together to guide the organization’s mission and support meaningful, community-centered change.
